Beer styles: used in both lagers and ales 

Origin: Wai-Iti is a triploid variety selected for its low alpha and high oil content, bred from US Liberty and German Hallertau Mittelfruh, released in 2011

Brewing characteristic: low cohumulone and high level of farnesene create a clean bitterness for single hopped beers, high oil content well suited for late and dry hopped beers

Alpha acids: 2.5-3.5 %

Beta acids: 4.5-5.5 %

Co-humulone: 22-24 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 1.5-1.7 ml / 100 grams

Aroma profile: fruity fresh peaches and ripe apricot aroma notes

Myrcene: 25-27 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 8-9 % of whole oil

Humulene: 27-28 % of whole oil

Farnesene: 12-14 % of whole oil

Recommended use and hopping: leaf hops or pellets type 90, first kettle addition up to dry hopping
