Origin: Pacific Jade is a triploid type alpha variety bred from NZ variety First Choice and Saazer male, released in 2004

Brewing characteristic: used for first hop addition as well as dry hopping

Agronomics: 2200-2700 kg/ha

Alpha acids: 12.5-14.5 %

Beta acids: 7.0-8.0 %

Co-humulone: 24-26 % of alpha acids

Total oil: 1.4-1.7 ml / 100 grams

Aroma profile: distinct fresh citrus, hint of black pepper

Myrcene: 33-38 % of whole oil

Caryophyllene: 10-12 % of whole oil

Humulene: 32-34 % of whole oil

Farnesene: ˂1 % of whole oil

Recommended use and hopping: pellets type 90, first kettle addition, dry hopping
